Ekam – Son of Soil is about family relations and family disputes. It's a triangular love story full of comedy and emotions. It's about village life and a journey of a hero from metro city to a village where he helps not just the poor farmers but also the drug ridden youth. He gives away his land to the villagers.
Ekam (Babbu Maan) returns to India from Australia because of his father's (Jagmeet Singh) wish. His father wants him to stay with him and his second wife (Sheelam) and her son (Monty). His wish is to see his entire family live happily together, but Ekam realises that he is not accepted by his stepmother and stepbrother. He misses his real mother who is no more. Corrupt MLA (Iqbal Singh) is a close family friend and a business partner to Ekam's family. Iqbal Singh's daughter Navneet falls in love with Ekam. In spite of their different thoughts they become close and want to live life together, to which their families have no issues. All efforts from Jagmeet Singh are not able to bring his family together; he is deeply hurt and one day dies of a heart attack.
Sukhmani- Hope For Life is a story based on the Journey of Major Kuldeep Singh, played by Gurdas Maan, a decorated officer of the Para Battalion, who overcomes personal trauma and social indignity to uphold the morals of the army and the honour of a woman rejected by society and family, while keeping alive the memory of his beloved daughter Sukhmani.
On that fateful day when the beautiful valley of Jammu & Kashmir is bloodied by the gruesome killings of his devoted wife and treasured daughter at the hands terrorists, Major. Kuldeep Singh’s life is thrown into disarray. To maintain his sanity and avoid falling in to a black hole of depression, he returns to his duty, fighting the terrorists with renewed vigor and the need to avenge his family. When for a second time he fails to save the life of an innocent girl who becomes a victim of the terrorism, he becomes a broken man. However, a soldier’s war is never over and when duty calls again, he goes out to repatriate innocent civilians from the Wagah Border. It is after meeting Reshma, he decides that protecting her from the social stigma of society as well as from the evil intentions of his own comrade has becomes his goal in life. He faces dishonour and social exclusion, but unwaveringly fights back for his rights, the rights of a woman dispelled by society and the future of a little girl who has nothing to do with terrorism and the hatred in this world.
Sukhmani shows us that both good and evil lie within each of us, however when faced with exceptional circumstances, each human acts differently. It shows us that sometimes we have to make choices that are not always accepted by society. Sukhmani shows us that there is hope for life...
After his father's death Ekam is on a crossroad. He does not know where to go. He decides to fulfill his father's wish and moves to his ancestral house in the village, where he has lot of childhood memories. Once he reaches the village he comes across problems faced by villagers and how they are exploited by politicians and others. Ekam fights for their rights and brings a positive change to the village. This is not accepted by MLA Iqbal Singh who sees Ekam as a threat to his vicious plans. He warns his daughter Navneet to stay away from Ekam. But Ekam, a "true son of soil" cannot be stopped from achieving his goal.

Prabjyot Kaur lives a traditional and conservative lifestyle in rural Punjab along with her parents, and grandparents. Her father, Joginder Singh, is very stern and disapproves of love-marriages. When she expresses a desire to continue studying in Chandigarh city, her grandfather accompanies her and arranges her residence with a sober widower, Colonel Brar, who has also permitted several other young women to live under his roof as tenants. Prabhjyot does not know that the Colonel is not who he claims to be, neither was he ever married, and soon she will be thrust into a romance that will throw her into conflict with her family.
